ok, quick thanks go out to becky & the djs.  The map point was deep in the
heart of the ghetto & funky, thanks for the davenport cd.  It is so fly & it
has my 2nd fave pop remix on it (hall & oates - cant go for that).  It also
has some sweet jazzy house traxx.  Que Bueno  :)

The venue also had that dirty vibe (ala tropical), sound was bumpin, when i
got there (~11pm) i believe it was zack hill on the decks, & lets just say
he's displayed much better mixing skills before, but his track selections
were definitely much appreciated.  Then i believe the next one on was E.
Davenport, very technical jamie thinnes style mixing, & he definitely dug
deeper than most djs do to find the tracks he was playin.  Asses were
definitely shakin.  Also, the crowd was definitely fedexin the love beams.
Chillin upstairs, some dude offered my some of teh serious D A N K.  Thanks
for the offer!  Too bad i dont smoke  :P

One last thing, i dont use profanity very often but...  I got to send out
one big "FUCK YOU!!" to the fat perverted dork at the door.  Its about 130a,
my girl was busy all day & didnt have a chance to eat all day & if u know
me, i'm always hungry.  We wanted PINK'S.  So we decide to see what the in's
& out's policy is.  Tropical was cool with it when they used that venue, so
we gave it a try.  We ask some dude w/a clipboard inside by the door if ins
& outs are cool, he's like "yeah, just tell the guy outside".  So we go
outside & ask again, then the fat perverted dork is like "no way, u gotta
pay $15 all over again, each of you."  There was no way, i was going to pay
$60 total for me & my girlfriend for this party.  So i'm kinda
understanding, i know ins & outs are not a nomal policy, but at a party like
this rules can be bent.  The crowd wasnt that think just yet, there was no
line, & they were serving drink w/o ID.  So some other people show up to the
party & say that they know 'jeff' & say that he wants them to get in for
free.  Those people dont find 'jeff' so the fat perverted dork tells them
"either u pay the cover or one of your chicks flash me."  The fat perverted
dork then proceeds to make the same offer to us...  We leave, go to pink's &
dont come back.  Thanks gravity! nice decision to put that guy at the door,
We may never go to one of your parties again, that is unless you bring out
roger sanchez.
