Kenny Bobien Bio

       Kenny is a true veteran in the music industry and his resume speaks 
for itself.  He is truly the  The King of Gospel House Music!    
                                                                              
                                                Singing since the age of 
three, this Newark, New Jersey native won countless awards and honors in music 
during his Elementary and High School years. Meeting tenor co-hort, Eddie 
Stockley, he was introduced music producers (the late) Guy Vaughn and Sherick Guy. 
Kenny thereafter signed to their production company, "The Fly Guys" as a 
vocalist. He joined Fly Guy group, "Def Con 4" signed to Warner Brothers label. After 
an appearance on the Soul Train music program, the group disbanded in 1990. 
As a background vocalist, Kenny along with Eddie Stockly, brought this marriage 
of tenors to the attention of many artist and music producers.Continuing in 
the business, Kenny's work as a songwriter and vocalist was featured in the 
motion picture soundtrack "Hanging With The Homeboys" in 1992. 
Traveling extensively in the United States, Europe and Japan, Kenny has 
performed with a multitude of dance artist and major label R&B acts, such as 
Jennifer Holiday and Milira. He has also performed live with many major Gospel 
groups. Going solo in 1994, Kenny recorded R&B classic "You Are My Friend" that 
became a monumental hit. In the midst of the glory of Kenny's "Friend", he found 
time to background today's mega pop stars, Celine Dione, Taylor Dayne, Mariah 
Carey, CeCe Rogers and Lauryn Hill as well as R&B legend, Teddy Pendergrass. 
No stranger to song writing duly demonstrated in his inspirational, "Rise Above 
The Storm", Brighter Days" and "Let Me Show You" are among the many 
successful songs he has written. Multi-talented, Kenny's youthful, energetic 
inventiveness is always expanding. 

    In 1999 Kenny completed his debut album on independent label, Soundmen On 
Wax,  titled "Blessed".  Kenny has also completed production on his inaugural 
 gospel album, "Wonderful"  with his wife, the singer and renowned 
songwriter, Stephanie Cooke, which will be released on the independent label Urb N' Flo 
Records.  The album includes both live and studio productions.   The 
promotional  maxi-single, "Right There", with the bonus track, "Give Him Praise", was 
released to the media this year.  With releases on Soundmen On Wax , MAW rec., 
Basement Boys, King Street , Sfere , and Disorient you could say Kenny is 
truly blessed. Please join us as we welcome Kenny for his first ever Los Angeles 
Appearance.

jojoflores  Bio

       The concept that one guy can rock a full house strictly by playing 
records on a turntable could blow your mind. Yet jojoflores does exactly that. 
Regular out of town gigs does not stop him from being a resident DJ in several 
clubs in his hometown of Montreal. jojoflores began his career as a diskc 
jockey at the age of 15 and has become one of Montreal's hottest garage deep house 
export -holding down honorary residencies in Toronto, Ottawa, San Francisco, 
Los Angeles and New York City.
 His entrepreneurial spirit led to the formation of Basshedz in 1996 which 
produced ¨Swank¨- a four year old weekly event awarded one of the¨Top 5 Montreal 
Club Nights¨ by MixMag in 1998. In 1999, Basshedz and Inobe productions 
joined forces to create Therapy, a night of sweet sophistication, bringing soulful 
garage grooves and afro-latin rhythms from international as well as local disc 
jockeys. The challenge of never knowing what to expect from a crowd is what 
drives jojoflores to constantly provide a solid groove. His signature sound is 
synonymous with soulful tracks, flawless mixing and a steady, uplifting vibe. 
In 2002 jojo along with partners launched Gotsoul Recordings, an Independent 
record label specializing in deep soulfull house and garage. With five current 
releases and more scheduled to come Gotsoul  will definitely  earn its place 
among respected soulfull house labels.
