Ok... so woke up yesterday to a phone call stating that the show might not
happen...
The auroa of Toddley was slightly shakin but not stirred to the fullest
extent, because it was just all unclear, then later was with a friend who got a
call that the location was lost due to uncertain circumstances. Then I got
stirred for a hot minute, I was waiting and wanting and needing to see the FREAKS, I
mean Luke and Justin... come on... who wouldnt.... So I did my breathing
excercises as to not go into cardiac arrest, when i got a call.... the show is on
at the Knitting Factory!!!
First off... thank you to Gleam Recordings and Brain for finding such a quick
location and making it happen due to unexpected turns in events. Not too many
people showed up, I would say about 100-150 max. To me that is a little
splice of heaven... We were all able to dance!!!! Can we say the best music i have
heard in a long ass time for 2 hours from Diz, Luke, Justin, and their guitar
player who can throw down cuts as well.
Zoki and Sara (excuse me, Denise) were in full effect with the 80's shirts on
ode'ing to the FREAKS, to which they were quite dazzled i must add.
The party ended at 2 but who cares, we got to see the FREAKS as promised. I
was lucky enough to get an acetate from Luke, with this womans vocals on it ( i
think the where were you when the lights went out lady) that is soooo amazing
i cant wait to play it at King King for my birthday party next week so YOU
SHOULD ALL GO!!!!!
Sorry this is long and drawn out, i will get to my point.
1. AWESOME MUSIC
2. GOOD TIMES.

Thank you Ira and Brian for making this happen.
