DJ YELLOW (Yellow Productions, Africanism / France)
DJ Yellow is one half of the Parisian based Yellow Productions music label,
along with Chris the French Kiss, or Bob Sinclair as he is more popularly
known. Yellow Productions has released some of the most influential dance,
bossa, and downtempo releases to date: Salome De Bahia-Outro Lugar, DJ
Gregory-Block Party, Dimitri From Paris - Sacre Bleu, Mighty Bop and the
recent Bossa Tres Jazz / Bossa Mundo compilations. The Yellow Productions
sub-label Africanism has been a standard at WAX, and includes the WAX best
seller's Tourment D'Amour and Block Party. Yellow is known for his signature
brand of deep, dance floor friendly house music. This is his first
appearance at WAX since the Bossa Mundo Tour with Francois K., and his first
solo appearance in LA since his stop at Deep, "Where House Lives" last year.

WAX 2003 SCHEDULE
Sat. June 21st - DJ YELLOW (Yellow Music, Africanism / France) - Was with us
for the Bossa Mundo tour along with FRANÇOIS K. in December, back with us on
his own for some great deep house music. Constantly releasing quality music
on the Yellow and Africanism labels, just started a new label called Art Of
Disco, and 1/2 of Bob Sinclair, Yellow is known throughout the world as
being at the forefront of all things deep and funky. Recently played at Deep
with King Britt lat last summer, he know visits us on his own for an
extended set!

Sat. July 5th - THEO PARRISH (Sound Signature / Detroit), the man behind the
Sound Signature label and the Ebay massive Ugly Edits, one-third of the
"Three Chairs" along with Kenny Dixon Jr. aka Moodyman and Rick Whilhite
(watch out for the new album coming soon), and the king of all things funky
returns back to LA to set off some fireworks. Extended Set, we're excited!

Sat. July 19th - MARQUES WYATT (Deep, "Where House Lives"), back again for
the first time since the remodel, excited to have one of the original
Revival members back with us!

Sat. August 2nd - LARRY HEARD & BRETT DANCER (Track Mode / Detroit),
Legendary MR. FINGERS along with the Track Mode label head Brett Dancer
visits the WAX party to celebrate the release of the latest Larry Heard
album "Where Life Begins". Larry Heard has produced many dance classics
including the all time house classic "Washing Machine", and numerous remixes
including Glowing Glisses - "On The Bridge" as featured on Doc Martin's
latest mix CD for Fabric. Larry Heard is a LEGEND for today, tomorrow, and
beyond, hope to see everyone out for this special night.
