he played a remix of pyt. not sure of who it was by.
he also busted a sweet nelly 'hot in here' remix, and something after that
that sounded just like bel biv devoe's 'poison'
glad you had fun at that party...to be quite honest...i would like to
publicly PLEAD that no one throws a house party at that spot again...it's
just the strangest place ever to have a thousand people in there and trying
to gain some sort of house vibe...and i hate to say it but the lack of bar
is a huge downer...being a little grown up and dealing with the ultimate
shakedown at the door...i dunno, just seemed so energy sucking.
i thought farina was playing so slow and im thinking now it was cuz he had
to follow harvey (wouldnt harvey have been a better closer?)
thank GOD for the smaller rooms and more importantly zack's set. whoooo.
straight turned the night around with some tracks i've been longing to hear
out. :)
either way, it was an interesting evening. and i know lots and lots of work
went into it...
i just think i was hoping for something a little different, having never
been to the q before...i suppose just a party of that caliber (and no booze)
is bound to be sort of sparse on the intimacy level. the whole
quality/quantity thing.
