I agree that Farina didn't play as well as he normally does.. when I listen
to a Farina morning set I want to hear some MELODIC shit! He started off
great, I was loving the house track that used the De La Soul sample and the
stuff on that tip. But during the middle the set just got way too repetitive.
I kept waiting and thinking "ok now he's going to drop some jazzy goodness on
us" and it never happened. well I left at 3:30 so I'm not sure if it happened
after that or not..

besides that I think the party was very well organized and the vibe was cool.
at one point of the night they were playing some like straight raver
sounding music in the 2nd room, but no one was in there listening to it so
that's cool. hehe.. True I would have liked to see certain dj's play at
different times. Also I really would have liked to hear some downtempo
since it was advertised. 3 rooms of house can get quite repetitive.

in the end I think frescoe did a pretty good job. the party went off without
any problems and didn't get busted. true there was no booze but its damn
hard to find a good venue that can fit 1000 people these days.

my 2 chicken scraps

theory open mind music / green sector records
