Maybe it's the responses like these that make DJ's not want to play in
l.a. or charge up the ass to do it.
"I thought he'd play _____"
"I wanted him to play _________"
"I left because he didn't play _______"
If the guy played hard, it's cuz he was in that mood. I mean, it's not
like he played epic trance or something that could make you want to
disqualify him as a great house dj. im not a huge mark farina fan. I
think he's good and plays fun stuff. But I wouldn't complain about him
just cuz he didn't play the stuff that *I* was in the mood for on a
particular night, and say that my money was not well spent. If you
didn't want to spend $30, then don't go to a $30 party. Otherwise listen
and enjoy as much as you can. Plus There were a few other great events
that night that were way under $30, like Ms. Sue's thang at king king.
Me? I stayed home and slept. It was nice.
By the way, Im not into pop remixes either, but it's just a thought
since it was a thread from the other day.
But no alcohol.... That's lame. supermegalame. There should be early
warning about that on the info line at the very least.
