[Dynagroove] House is a Feeling!

Well, I don't know most of you, and most of you don't know me. I didn't go
to this event, and I haven't gone to a house event in a really long time;
mainly because of the reasons that the people who didn't like Farina's set
have mentioned. Now I've been watching Farina since about 1995 so what I
say I not me talking out of my ass...

For those of us that have been disappointed with Mark Farina's sets when he
comes down here, after distancing myself from the house scene, I kind of
figured out why "I" at least was being disappointed (maybe this holds true
for others too). I think that some of us go to see Farina and expect "San
Francisco Sessions." However, we get there and we get something along the
lines of "Connect." Now not to say that Connect is a bad CD, its got cool
songs...but by far does not have the feeling and creative layering and
sampling and playing certain tracks a couple of times through the CD because
they just sounded good together. I don't know, maybe its time taking its
toll on a great DJ. Or maybe its just easier to please the masses with the
familiar than pleasing the few with the artistic - be bold for the small
crowds, be safe with the big ones...

I do wonder this though, how much would it cost to see Farina on the east
cost, or over seas???
