Online store "status" update of the week...
Lots of little minor delays, mainly with the server, but still hoping to be up by the end of the week, middle of next week at the latest...sorry for all of the delays...soon!

Sat. March 15th - MAURICE FULTON (Nuphonic, UK), It's the return of the man with the walkman headphones, playing everything under the sun. If you missed the last one, ask someone who was there. Definitely one of our favorite nights in 2002, we are excited to have him back @ WAX... don't miss it!

Sat. March 29th - Disco Adventure w/ Special Guest DJ HARVEY. The man behind the WAX Classics returns to the WAX Party for the first time in 6 months. Get ready for a late night session with Mr. Black Cock himself.

April... WAX 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION, all month long!!
Sat. April 12th - 4 Year Anniversary Party, Late Night w/ special guest FRANÇÏIS K. (Wave Music, NYC) extended 6 hour set. Expect a rough mix of house, techno, disco, and everything in between as we kick off our month long anniversary celebration with a true legend. We will be going until at least 6am on this night, get ready, make plans, contact the baby sitters, 'cause it's on!

Sat. April 26th - 4 Year Anniversary Party, celebrating 4 years of WAX Records in Los Angeles. DJ's for the night are WAX's own JUAN NUNEZ, LITTLE CHRIS, AZTECH SOL, KASEY GOTO, with giveaways, surprises, etc. Thank you Los Angeles!

Coming in June - DANNY KRIVIT (NYC) - one of the original members of the Body & Soul trio, Danny plays an eclectic mix of house, disco re-edits, funk, etc. Check out his most recent "Re-Edits By Mr. K" CD on Strut. This is his second LA appearance, extended set. We are excited to have him back in LA for the first time in over a year!

Walter Jones - All God's Children *Juan Nunez and Little Chris / Maurice Fulton Rmx - Finally released...2 mixes for you...the Juan Nunez and Little Chris rmx is a deep bassline, percussive house monster that's been getting hammered by Doc lately. Flip it over and the Maurice Fulton remix is an electro, 80's sounding track that at first sounds weird...but let it play, let the keys come in, and you have a wonderful piece that had the DFA guys singing much praise...check it out! Don't miss Maurice Fulton at the WAX Party this Saturday!

Soulrider - Silky Mama - From DJ Three's Hallucination camp comes another deep tech monster. If you liked the Second Hand Satellites record (A Doc Martin, DJ Harvey anthem), then you will love this one...nice work Three, we love it!

DJ Cam - Im a Rasta - One of our favorite producers comes correct with another deep house winner, should to appeal to mature listening audiences worldwide.

Kemit Sources - Creole Recreation Serie - If you liked their last release "Play", then you will love this deep, percussive, rhythmic house track. Sounds very much like Osunlade, deep house at it's best.

Theo Parrish - Ugly Edit 3 - The previous 2 have been solid, #3 is the best one yet. Absolutely fabulous re-edit stuff from Detroit's underground guru. Should appeal to the Detroit, Idjut/ re-edit heads.

Moodyman - I'm Doing Fine - Re-release of the previous Moodyman release "I'm Doing Fine" on the Pandamonium label. We sold out the first time round, get it again.

Sekouba Bambino - Decourage * Charles Webster - Deep percussive house on the Distance label. Perfect deep house from an LA favorite, Charles Webster. WAX Pick.

Turntable Rocker - Rings *Tiefschwarz - The 'Schwarz delivers another knockout remix, signature Tiefschwarz sound. Upbeat, deep bassline, quirky sounds...all you have come to expect from them. Doc Martin Play!

Joshua - Imagine Airy - Solid EP of West Coast styled house from one of the West Coasts most prolific producers. Getting hammered by Mark Farina at the moment, solid upbeat house music.
