[Dynagroove] the ivar, the ivar, the whatwhat? the ivar

charles feelgood played great last night and it was a pleasure to hear him.  the tables were set up battle-style at first, but he got them rotated after the first half hour of his set.  i only wish the rest of my ivar experience hadn't put me in such a mood as to not be able to really enjoy the music...

the male bartender there is pretty suck at his job.  i waited almost 30 minutes at the bar to finally be ignored by him, and so i found the manager.  (props to him for correcting the situation by comping me my drink order) although i saw a few people from this list (yo shannon! ;) most of the crowd seemed to be there only to see and be seen.  there were also way too many lights in there for the small space of the club.  ssss---tttt----rrr---oooo----bbb---eeee  aaaaaaaaaaaa!  the sound was nice and loud though.  just my experience.  thought i'd share for anyone that may be considering attending the ivar in the future.    

looking forward to a cleansing experience tonight at the ol' standby FT.  whew!
