Behringer is known for stealing / reverse engineering products from
their competitors. People have different views on their products,
but most people would probably agree that they're not the greatest
quality.
Personally, I'd say buy the best Rane mixer you can afford. The
Pioneers don't sound that good IMHO, and have a very "plastic"
feel... Vestax mixers don't sound that good either (except at the very
high end).
Ranes are a good balance of price and performance. They're not the
cheapest mixers around, but you can find one for a reasonable price.
