I just wanted to throw in my two cents to all of you who think LA does not have a awesome House scene - 1st of all, anyone who knows what is up knows that clubs are not the place where you are going to find the good shit. The fact is, as it always been - the good stuff is not in Hollywood with all the glitz but downtown in the warehouses. And in the last 12 years that I been going out to parties all over Cali the story is the same. But of course, like anything this good, you have to look for it, but most importantly, you have to be connected. I know, we are an elite group of people excluding the majority, but it is how we as a community have been able to keep the core going. I'm sorry for those who feel that there is not a lot of events out there but the truth is the idea of a weekly event bores me. I like the fact that a week or two past before next cool underground event is due. It keeps you wanting it and keeps it fresh. I personally feel that the last couple of y!
ears we did see a decrease in good parties, but that is not to say the scene died. In fact, I now feel that all the crap out there has made it possible to see that LA does have a fresh vibrant underground scene. Just look at what dynagroove, tropical, For Those Who Know, F.A.M.I.L.Y. and Sublevel have done this year alone to see that LA is rockn' hard. I still we have a little bit to go before we can reach the energy of the early 90's but I have a feeling we will get there very soon. So stop looking at all those glossy flyers you get outside spundae and start talking to people because crying about the fact that you don't know of any cool parties just shows how out of touch you are with the rest of us rocking the dancefloor. PEACE!

P.S. - To everyone who showed up at Sublevel on Saturday - Man, that party was off the hook! Now that's what I'm talking about!!
