"how on earth am i supposed to vibe among the fake ones. the ones they say
they know what is what, but they dont know what is what. they just strut.
what the f@#$?"
good question.
we are here to share amazing music.
to witness our friends and family out for an evening under angeleno
starhaze. dancing for purpose. feeling the beat. being the vibe. clinking
the glasses. sharing smiles and stories and hopefully leaving when the sun
comes up with more to share...
this is our purpose. this is why we do our parties. we try to bring what
will attract the ones that know what is what. the ones that will help to add
to the experience. to feel it. cuz i dont know about you, but one good night
of solid dancing and i can digest the world better.
i feel hopeful and positive.
i've put out my energy, i've cleared my mind/body/soul of anything weird
i've gathered throughout the week and once again...it's apparent why we are
here on this planet.
so long email withstanding...we invite you, again, to GRAVITY. 11/22/2003.
we even invite you to get in for a really low price in hopes that you
househeads will see what we're about...the music. the vibe. and we dont use
that term loosely. we respect it.
so yeah. it seems from all of these emails about our scene...and the
creeping bitterness of old age interfering with our dance energy
resources...and foofy clubs are making us think we're above the babypowder
floor and one dollar water...
come to GRAVITY.
come welcome JOHNNY FIASCO back to los angeles and thank him for the amazing
amounts of music he has pumped into our scene over the last umpteen years.
come help him celebrate the birth of his new child (the reason we put the
party off for a month)
come dance til dawn with MARK E QUARK and hear the spaciness that we have
loved since day one...the man is flawless. he's incredible!
come thank THEORY for doing all that he does day in and out in our scene.
see what he'll cough up next.
come see LUCAS open up the night...he's tricky, and if you haven't yet heard
him...time to start, lord knows he's been on the other side of the decks for
long enough.
come slide on the floor next to us...come get a free cd...come get twisted
drunk (and not drive)....
come party like it's GRAVITY!
