Agreed.. Plus the last time they were scheduled to be here (for Andy V's
club a year or two back), only Mateo (I belive) made it as there were
some family issues. So seeing them together in LA is going to be a nice
treat. Much respect to Sue for hosting this event.

There are some amazing tracks produced, remixed, hell even inspired by
these two producers.. Here's just a taste

Wow.... What a freaken weekend we have going on out here in the "Good
Ol' Los
Angeles House Scene." Damn we got Miguel Migs, we got Gene Farris
playing at
a Mansion Party, and the Highlight of the talent Mateo and Matos are
spinning
at Balance. And someone was saying that LA was lacking good music.
Please.

"Macho Mateo and Mutha Funkin Matos." OK, so I know some of you on the
list
haven't been listening to House music for that long. And would probably

choose to go to hear Miguel Migs play, and you know what, that's cool.
Shit I'd go
and see him as well, but honestly he's spun out here like twice a month
for
the past few months. Do me a favor, step out of the box. Go and
experience
some DJs that are not so familiar. Give your ears a gift. Trust me,
you as
well as your ears won't be disappointed. Here are some facts about
Mateo and
Matos, to help you understand what I'm talking about. They have been
DJing since
the late 70's. They got their inspirations from DJs such as Tony
Humphries,
Frankie Knuckles, and Little Louie Vega. They have spun in every major
club
in every major city in the world. They have also worked on or with
every major
label out there. And just to let you know how good these two complement
each
other. They have been DJing together since the 80's.

Anyways, I'm not telling anyone where to go, but damn if you want to
hear
some House music played like it was meant to be played I'd sure enough
go and hit
up "Balance" at the Fabulous King King.

Matt
