why do you associate "rave" with music and drugs? Raves back in the day, 60
year old Shaman hippies kicked it and didnt listen to electronic music. A
rave is simply a gathering of people on a different spiritual level. Raves
now are a bunch of drugged out morons who are selfish because the original
heads told the wrong people to go. Thoughts?

>>To Dynagroove,
>>
>>The way Burning Man has been described to me, I think old hippies in the
>>desert setting fires. I would never have thought week long massive rave
>>party. This festival is what I, and everyone else who can appreciate it,
>>has been searching for. The music - cutting edge house, techno, live
>>funk, drum&bass. The city of Black Rock (where B-Man is) is as far as the
>>eye can see, with eye candy (next level lasers and lighting) 360 degrees
>>all around! So how can you get to point A to B without a blistering walk?
>> Just jump on an art car ! or Mutant Vehicle (cars/buses people trick out
>>into spaceships, dragons, animals, pirate ships) and get taken around the
>>open area known as the Playa. When on the playa, you may notice giant
>>Gundam robots that stand 10 feet tall traveling in packs, or just people
>>on colorful motorcycles dragging 12 foot tall oil derricks spitting fire
>>20 feet into the air. And as for the people, first off, everyone is
>>giving without remembering and taking without forgetting. If you are
>>caught using "money," you will be asked to leave. Everyone trades or
>>simply gives. There are beautiful "mad max" desert women, with booty
>>shorts, ratted hair, platforms and googles on - but dont think they are
>>pieces of meat, they are about as bad ass as any guy with firearms.
>>Nobody wants Burning Man to end, but in the end, they burn the man, all
>>temples (massive structures people build), and all the art work built. If
>>anyone has any thoughts or has been to this festival please reply to the
>>dynagroove forum, we (I especially) would love to hear your
>>experience...it's time to EVOLVE
