[Dynagroove] just moved to bay area, need some suggestions...

what's up everybody?  my name is jeff and i just started going to 
school at uc berkeley.  i am finally getting settled, and i am very 
much missing the l.a. house scene.  i know that in the past people have 
posted here asking what's happening this weekend or that weekend, but 
my question is more general.  is there anything similar to dynagroove 
in the bay area which lets kids know what's up as far as the house 
scene is concerned?  i'm looking more for the sweaty, dark, good music 
kind of places as opposed to the spundae type places (i do know about 
1015 folsom, but this doesn't excite me too much).  so yeah, any email 
lists or websites or specific venues i should check out on a regular 
basis?  or any specific parties that anyone knows about coming up soon?
