JOSH WINK (Ovum, Philadelphia)
- Josh Wink needs no introduction; house anthems like the Flammable Liquid
anthem E-Culture-²Tribal Confusion², to the Doc Martin & Wicked Crew
standards ³Don¹t Laugh², ³Higher State of Consciousness², and ³I¹m Ready²
are all classic Wink productions.  Today Josh Wink concentrates on the Ovum
Record Label, and his passion for DJing.  His most recent mix compilation
³Profound Sounds Vol. 2² is a tribute to his character, one that is unafraid
to walk the border between stylistic boundaries.  Wink says "It represents
me, and the way I combine house and techno, in both my DJ sets and as a
producer, pretty well. I'm not one for holding people to one specific genre;
I love being on the median in between."  He blew us away for 4 hours a
little over a year ago, now he¹s back at the WAX Party to do it once again.

release tour, makes a stop at the WAX Party, his first in over a year. On
the patio it¹s Garth Trinidad (KCRW).

Sat. September 27th ­ DANNY KRIVIT (Body & Soul, Nite Grooves/NYC) Back with
us again after the great night we had with him last time.  Another extended
set from one of the original Body & Soul members (along with Joe Claussell &
Francois K.).  Extended set!
