Man, I miss being a kid and having Summer Vacation!!!  Now that I have entered the so-called adult world and joined Corporate America, I just don't feel like the beauty of summer has had a chance to really hit me.  Maybe it's because I spend all day in a temperature controlled environment and I will freeze if I don't keep my sweater on.  Perhaps it's because the color of my legs reminds me of paste.  It could be because I can't remember the last time I played at the beach all day or even tasted the ocean.  Or
even because the last time I traveled out of the state was March of 2003!  Whatever it may be, it just doesn't feel like summer!   
 
Although, I do have to say, I was able to catch a glimpse of true summer fun a coupla weeks ago at Body Rock in the Park!  All the smiling faces glimmering in the sun, the families and dogs playing freely, and of coarse the delicious flavors of the MAR-T-CUE confirmed that summer was here indeed!  For a precious moment there, while the BodyRock guys were dropping love bombs, I was able to connect with my childhood understanding of summertime and be free!!!  I forgot about any repsonsiblities or personal troubles I may have been dealing with and let the good vibrations come over me.  It was definately needed and very much appreciated!!!  
 
Sooooooo, I know there is another park party to be on the look out for...
When is it?
