[Dynagroove] Mark Farina & Derrick Carter Review

Hello All!

Well I must say it has been some time since I ventured out of my little
hole, but I beleived this was an event not to be missed. My wife and I
arrived a little earlier to avoid the lines and due to the fact that we had
not been out in almost a year (new babies seem to make things stop for a
while) we were excited. Marques, as always :), played his normal stuff and
seemed to build it up for Farina. I played with Mark last year at House
wasn't a feelin and have to say that his set was lacking. This time around
he sounded like the DJ that he is. He played a pretty eclectic mix of music
all the way down to the Bushes track. I had not heard him play this in
years! Mark killed it for sure.

As Benjamin stated, DC dropped in and kept the BPM going for the first half
hour or so of his set. He played good, but kinda thumpin compared to what
Mark brought to the decks. I have seen DC outside LA and I can tell you it
is a whole different experience. This guy can mix and match like no one I
have ever seen. Overall it was an awesome time and great excuse to get out
of the house.

See ya around
