ABOUT THIS WEEKS GUESTS:
With nearly 25 years of DJ'ing collectively under their belts, JHRAMATIC
SOUNDSYSTEM DJ's Chris Haycock & Damon Bell have emerged as two of
Californias leading organic beat rockers. Whether its the roots sounds of
dub & reggae, cultured sounds of afro beat, batacuda and Brazilian, or
emerging futuristic sounds of nu jazz, broken beat, soul and deep house; the
JHRAMATIC SOUNDSYSTEM share likenesses to a chameleon with their
ever-changing assault of dancefloor styles.

Representing both sides of California, Damon Bell (San Diego) & Chris
Haycock (San Francisco, Los Angeles) have shared the bill with a formidable
list of globally respected talents, including Femi Kuti, The Roots, Masters
at Work, Jazzanova, Fila Brazilia, Bugz in the Attic, Boozoo Bajou, King
Britt, Truby Trio, Remy Shand, Saul Williams, Bobby Matos, Kinky,
H-Foundation, Turntables on the Hudson, Attica Blues, Vienna Scientists,
Jonah Sharp, Iz & Diz & Peanut Butter Wolf to mention a few.

Individually, each DJ has quite a history of projects and residencies
worldwide. Chris Haycock holds down three residencies in San Francisco
including the definitive leftfield dance event, Joypad and long running Bay
Area establishments The Green Gorilla Lounge and The Velvet Shop alongside
DJ M3. In addition to a long list of international appearances in places
like London, Berlin, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Manchester, Sydney, Melbourne &
Vienna, Chris has been popping up in such acclaimed stateside locations as
Detroit and New York City. Current projects include a collaboration with
Santana vocalist Andy Vargas.

Damon Bell, also half of the San Diego Four Corners Soundsystem with DJ Ikah
Love, has established a huge Tuesday night at Bar Dynamite, now in its third
year, and is currently working with JT Donaldson (2nd Shift, Undercover
Agency) on a side project for Seasons Recordings under the name "Kollide
Escape" in addition to a solo project.
