I would have to agree. I strayed away from Balance to go hear Fiasco. I heard
that guy Alex D and he was workin it out a bit while i was there warming
things up. After Alex came off the decks Davenport came on and didnt too a whole
lot for me. The records he was playing were not catching my ear so ity was hard
for me to get into his set. Fiasco went on at 1:30 and thank god. He was
bumpin. He was rockin the good Chicago sound I was used to hearing. Deep vocally
tracks w/ some punch to em. Good ol time. I last for about an hour and 10-15
minutes of his set then a Toddley got tired and went home.
I must give props to the lovely miss becky and mr lucas. Way to work out a
party. Nice venue, sound was good, heard no problems, and thats ALWAYS good :)
You couldnt beat $10 bucks w/ a bat so that was another plus. I tip my hat to
you both. Bravo Bravo!!!
Hopefully I will see some familiar faces at Balance as Kenny and I work out
the decks the whole night. I am not sure what time I am playing but I am sure
you will see some times and info posted on here later.
Everybody Wang Chung tongiht! Everybody have fun tonight!
Toddley
