[Dynagroove] Defining moments in LA

it's funny, a lot of people i know (including myself) weren't ONLY into house
"back in the day", but on this list they're claiming all this Doc and DJ
Heather... come on... I was on the speaker with you to banging our heads to
Ron D. Core.

You know I love house, but "back in the day", the shit I remember were techno
warehouse parties. Barry Weaver, Ron D. Core, Aldo Bender, Malcom X... Dare I
say DJ Trance and R.A.W. and Fester?

On another similar note I know so many people that were into cheesy drum role
trance 2 years ago, and now they've gone and hopped on the "soulful, groovy
deep house" bandwagon.... Migs, etc. Sheesh! I was getting yanked off the
stage for playing house at big raves before it was trendy.

Sorry to get off on a tangent... Back in the day, I remember:

Compton Swap Meet
Ron D. Core
Barry Weaver
Real Ecstasy that lasted 8 hours
Candy Flipping
The Orb
Mars FM
Michael Cook
The Underground...

peace and love,

Jason Blakemore
