Tropical 2-year anniversary, October 2000, still the most memorable Tropical
for me too...

Other memories for me...
Paw Paw Patch and some party at La Casa in 1991. At the first one: wtf,
where am I, how did I get here, who are all these people, and what is this
anyway? At the second, filing out at gunpoint and being detained in the
parking lot until drama settled, then driving home at 100 mph to get my
mom's car back to her before she woke up. Didn't work.
After a 4-year break - BIg Wig Thumper at the Orange Show Grounds 1995. Not
sure if the party was special but his was the rave that hooked me and where
I first felt comfortable dancing.
After that: Nectar. This was my favorite party, I was at all of them,
loved them, felt a sense of community, it was a major inspiration for
Tropical.
Also: Moontribe, hard to pick one but maybe the 5-year anniversary with the
massive shade structures, full dance floor until past noon, water truck
spraying down people in the sun, classic!
Others: early FAMILY parties, Fresh Produce parties, No-I-Tu-Love, Starlight
at the top of the Sunset Vine Tower, the first Animania, the Nocturnal
Wonderland with Eat Static, Banco De Gaia at the American Legion Hall - how
bout Underworld, Orbital, the Orb, and Electric Skychurch at Snow Valley?
Or when Narnia got cacelled for the 80th time and 6000 people showed up on a
dry lake bed for the New Moon party that would have been 500 people except
for the Narnia cancellation. Lots of great memories here for sure, let's
keep building them though so we can talk about this again in 5 years...
