Nice! Well said. yeah, I feel you on that....except one thing. Music,
people...life... evolves. Dj's come...dj's go...but That list you just wrote
out...damn we must of been side by side at the speakers cuz I was at all of
them...
here is a list for some true skool/old skool heads...
Crusty's 1 & 2
Circa '92
Funky Tekno Tribe '92-95
Dream featuring Mark Farina and Derrick Carter
Flamable Liquid
Candelabra featuring Tony Largo
King Afterhours
Parliament
Techno Flight
Archie's Adventures introduces Doc Martin from San Francisco in '91.
And get ready for this one...THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH by Latin
Underground..party went off the hook at the Pico Rivera Sports Arena...i
think that was the first party to draw over 3000 people with ONLY local
dj's.
And my first underground I ever threw...RED WORLD '92...on a Sunday night
with Mr. Koolaid, Markem X, Jon Williams and guest dj from New York James
Dean. Second room Fester, RAW, and Oscure playing underground hip hop at the
infamous Santa Monica Sound Stage.
Damn those were the days...
peace and hair greace,
Carlos aka Gunny
