oh man,

the response and buzz that has been growing and grooving in anticipation for
this wednesday at electric is getting me all giddy!!! if you dont know, we're
having sunshine jones of dubtribe down from san francisco...and it's just
bound to be aych oh tee. (hot, phonetically)

if you are unaware of the musical magic that is dubtribe, please...take a
moment and peruse their site:

they have a label, lots of self- released live house music tracks and some
from other groups/artists...they have a huge worldwide community message board
from which i've been able to quote the following phrase by one mr. jones:

"i'm bringing house music, some disco, a little soul, and some tribal. three
or four breaks... whatever the tempo when i arrive, i'll take it down to 120
and go from there... so bring your
auto-motivated-i-love-house-music-and-i-love-to-dance shoes with you, ok?

at this point barring playing 2 hours of coltrane, the only thing i wanna do
is root around in my past... in the house archives, and the attic of my heart
for the music that i love most of all...

to locate a possible path out of this desert."


that just gives me chills. this man is a part of one of the monumental house
groups/producers of my life...

i hope you can come. i hope you take the time to come experience...to help
create the experience.
