[Dynagroove] Our House, 4 Year Anniversary this Thursday!!!

Hello everyone,

The time is almost here to celebrate 4 years!! A lot of people have been
asking where we've been all of this time, so here's the story....

We started Our House back on Tuesday, June 20th, 2000. It came as a spur
of the moment idea when my old partner (now co-host) Alex Xenophon of
Bassland and I were talking about how there are no house music clubs in
OC. We decided to change that by throwing a party at a local club. To our
surprise, it was a hit!! We threw another one a month later and then 2
weeks later then very soon decided to become a weekly.

We had our ups and downs and all arounds, but all in all you could always
bet on some great music and good times at Our House. It's about as
intimate as you can get with crowds ranging from 10 people to 200. It was
always a surprise from week to week showcasing local up and coming talent
to some of those top notchers you're always on the look out for. With a
family to call your own, you were always welcome at Our House.

Unfortunately, the tragedy of 9-11 forced us to close our doors in January
of 2002. We were sad to go, but the crowds diminished almost completely
and we felt we were due for a much needed break.

We had thrown some one-offs to "keep the vibe alive" and we were happy
with our accomplishment and help in shaping the underground house scene in
Orange County. It makes me happy to see other promoters in our area bring
the talent that Orange County desperately needs for quality entertainment,
for it is truly a labor of love that deserves recognition.

We look forward to providing an intimate atmosphere for you to come and
enjoy yourself in every 3rd Thursday of the month, so here's the info for
Our House's 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!

Located at the Lions Den at 719 W. 19th St. in Costa Mesa. Doors are open
from 9pm-2am. 21+w/ID, $5, full bar, drink specials (they are very
reasonably priced as it is), pool tables, free food, good vibes.

Take all routes to the 55 South and make a right at 19th St. (where the
freeway ends). We are located on the left hand side next to the
Smart-N-Final.
