wow - this email thread might get my ass out of my house on the weekends now. the diz and heather bit almost caused a hissy fit on this side of the email.

mark farina - yes, he's lost it over the years

derrick carter - i think he hates la. i saw a set in SF - completely different and knocked my freaking socks off

diz & heather - huh? WHAT?!?! track selections no good? this i find very hard to believe. their selections have gone down the tubes? i'm always amazed at what they will throw on and how they feed off of the crowd - every dj has their off nights, but these two have never impressed you? hmmm, go listen to diz @ dynagroove 10/2000 on dynagroove site. one of my favorite sets ever, too bad only 2 hours of that 4 hour spectacular are there.

btw - anyone know if gemini will ever return or has he truly gone awol? heard rumors that he was suffering from sort of dementia (maybe) and living on the streets....

> MARK FARINA : Good technical mixer but every one of his tracks is either banging @ 130 BPM, or just so techy it sounds like robot music
>
> HEATHER : Once again a very good mixer but as far as track selection - BORING.
>
> DIZ : Dwayne is a cool cat and his mixes are tight too, but track wise, its the same old techy stuff, Personally I havent seen Diz impress me in about 5 years
>
> DERRICK CARTER : Why everyone in L.A. jocks him and claims he is the king of Chicago House baffles me, I can only speak for myself but the chicago house I know of and love sounds
> nothing like what Mr. Carter plays
