[Dynagroove] I am going to start some trouble...

I'll agree with the person whomever said that Derrick
is a totally different person in Los Angeles. I have
seen him play in SF, and in Miami and I found his sets
in both places to be quite a bit more interesting than
that stuff he plays in big rooms in LA. People have
told me he hates it here and it shows. Sometimes I
feel like he is punishing us.

As far as underrated people can we add a personal
favorite of mine Tieschwarz? I really wish someone
would bring him here, hes GREAT live. I wasn't
expecting much at all out of him and he blew me away.

The implication of my email wasn't that house in
Chicago began with those four people.. but seeing as
they are just about the only Chicago DJ's people bring
to these parts.. i just thought an explination of some
sort was in order. I love Frankie and I love Larry
Heard.. but I don't get to see them enough.

These days I find it hard dragging my ass away from my
friends houses to go out to see anyone anymore because
I find myself just as entertained sitting around
sipping cocktails listening to my friends play records
(if not more so) than dealing with the hassle that is
partying in this town.

Im not down with getting DUI's and I'm over the
pretentious crap at "the door". Maybe I'm getting old,
maybe I'm jaded.. maybe I'm lame. Possibly all three.
