Yeah, Portland, OR - dance community is nothing short of AMAZING!  I
missed it so much when I first moved to LA... it's hard to describe.. it
such an incredible Vibe with a distinct feeling of family.  If you're
heading up to Portland, a few cool places to check out are "The Ohm",
"1201", & "Level" - there are a lot of new clubs opening up which I heard
are really good.  NWTechno.org is a great place to check out what's
happening.  You can also go to pdxclubpix.com (it's a really cool site)
and if you need inside information in Portland, an amazing DJ, and
Promoter in Portland is Dawn Leonetti.  You can e-mail her at frankieleo at yahoo.com
.  I would suggest someone bringing her down to LA.. she's fucking
awesome.. also, Ben & Ravi are really good local Portland talent which
should come down here more often, as well as Manoj... and I'm sure many
others.  Just had to put my two cen ts in about my home town - Portland!
