Actually, what I said was that the music WAS indeed very funky.  I think
that house music has gotten really good about funk and groove.  Even though
I was bored silly at a lot of the parties, I still drooled over the beats
n'bass production.  I just think that funky beats alone are not enough to
make the music interesting for an entire evening.
