each day this week, i have felt a buzz. growing a
little more every time i think about it...

five dollah funk is coming. 

you been yet? 

i know for the past few years, they've been throwin
pretty deep and a bit distant from the 'wood...and
ended at two so all you late arriving angelinos and
angelinas haven't had the chance to soak it in.

i swear to yashua someone be pumpin' in the partygas
at $5f or something cuz every last person on that
dance floor (and it gets THICK, mind you) is
moving...and yelling...and smiling...and just partying
like it's five dollah funk...no doubt.

so this time, the vinyltribe is not only throwing one
of their signature parties w/ that old time love
feelin'...they are doing it LATER and CLOSER...so
what's the excuse? why shouldn't you be one of those
happy dancefloor people feeling the love that one can
only feel when surrounded by a grip of people
rejoicing in the heady house music sounds we all
love??? you pretty much have no reason not to check it
out...

five dollars for a grand ol' time.

emi, steven, and zack are three dj's that just meld
their groove so well and lay out the line up so
seamlessly that you are taken up to that point and
then just held there mercilessly for the entire night
and even still left wanting more when the lights come
up...

so come to fdf!!!

sidenote:

and can i say thanks to all of the parties who have
really been making the effort to bring the partyvibe
back by lowering the doorprice...i swear people are in
MUCH more of a partying mood when they aren't stressin
on the rent payment having to go to $20 parties all
the time...and hey, more beer money aint nothin to
shake a stick at, right?
