The New York City house act Tortured Soul (torturedsoulmusic.com) have been
billed with such heavyweight DJs as Roy Davis Jr., Ron Trent, Derrick May,
Miguel Migs, Quantic, Q-Burn, Halo, and such top notch live talent as The
Wailers, Yellowman, Perry Farrell, Roni Size, and Ming and FS. Members of
the band produced Roger Sanchez's "First Contact" album, used to be know as
Cooly's Hot Box, and currently release records as The Moves (Central Park)
and BGB (Dessous). 

They have vinyl singles in the market, with remixes from Jon Cutler, Alix
Alvarez, Osunlade, and DJ Spinna. In 2003, vinyl single sales on Central
Park Recordings were over 25,000 . This Spring/Summer,  Moonshine Recordings
will be releasing multiple Tortured Soul cuts on a Osunlade mix compilation,
Eric Kupper will be releasing a TS remix single on Central Park, Purpose
Records will be releasing the album, as well as, Cisco in Japan will be
releasing a worldwide exclusive.

Tortured Soul performs as a live trio (drums, bass, keys/vox) with easy
production set up and solid attendance all around the country.  They add
