so...the surprise of the morning was mark grant emailing us to tell us he
was feeling a bit...fatigued...and sorry, cant make it tonight.
that's cool. we here in los angeles know how to deal w/ someone flaking...:)
in any case, mark grant is not...and will not...be playing electric.
the second surprise of the morning was one mr. barry weaver accepting our
invitation to come play tonight...
barry freakin' weaver. can you believe it. i think he played the third
electric at our last spot. it makes sense...
the man is a legend. he's great and he's smart and he's so incredibly
influenced by so many types of music that it's bound to be better than what
we had lined up...
to any of you who are bummed about mark grant, we are so sorry...we had no
way to predict this and did not expect it one bit. i know a lot of you were
really excited...please trust that barry weaver is one of if not THE most
technically talented djs of his time. we are very pleased.
just not meant to be. we wish him luck in his career.
so it's still on for tonight. we still have eric davenport opening up, who,
in my opinion could play all night every night and it still be one eff of a
party!!!
so crisis averted, get your butts to electric.
we owe you a good time.

admission is $5, $7 after 11:30
