[Dynagroove] so sad.

I for one am disgusted with the American public. We in essence have told the
Bush administration that is OK to lie to us (IRAQ), it is ok to involve
religion in the formulation of public and foreign policy and that it is OK
to for Multinational Corporations (FOX) to continue to commit fraud and
deceitful practices. Furthermore, we have given the far Christian right a
mandate by allowing the three branches of government (Executive - Pres.
Bush, Legislative - republican controlled house and Senate - and if Renquist
dies which its looking like he will - a conservative judicial branch) the
right to dictate their will and power on us. Should we be worried? No, WE
SHOULD BE TERRIFIED! The last time that one party has controlled all three
branches of government was in 1900 when President McKinley was re-elected.
Well, soon after that Prohibition was put into effect and the rest is
history. What does this mean now? ROE vs. WADE will be overturned. We
will invade Iran. And there WILL be a draft. A lot of people on this list
are young enough to be drafted. If you don¹t think it will happen to
you...guess again.

What is happening in this country is the hijacking of democracy by the
Christian Right. This is not a slam against their religion (I am for the
record a Christian) but for them to turn our precious democracy into a
mouthpiece for their religion goes against what all our founding fathers
believed in which was the separation of Church and State.

We are in very desperate time right now. The youth of this country did not
step up and make their voices heard. In four years they will be in their
mid to late 20's. Will they stand and he heard? I don¹t know. I really
hope they do.

The fact that Kerry conceded so early after he said " we will not sleep
until every vote is counted" says to me that he has cheated all who voted
for him. Every vote has not been counted! There are still provisional
votes AND absentee ballots in Ohio that need to be accounted for. Also,
voter intimidation in the Clevland are stopped large number of African
American voters exercising their right to vote. Did we hear about this?
NO! I wonder why?

The sad thing here is not that Kerry lost, but that we the American people
have just told the world to FUCK OFF! Before the world hated Bush. Now
they hate us too.

Well, what can we do? We can make sure that in 2008 we do not allow another
Republican to run this country. Will we be able to do it? Only your heart
can tell you that.
