remember a review a couple weeks back of an ODP at The Good Life ..
remember we were like it was great and the sound was crisp y loud ... the
people shook it with a smile ... the music selection and mixing quality
.... well that was just a test run ... THIS THURSDAY ... as in tommorow
.... its the real deal ... GOOD LIFE HALLOWEENIE PARTY ... bring your
costumes and dancing shoes .. cuz i know this party is going to go off ..
what does that mean .. great music (tech AND deep house) i am allowing
myself to have expectations with this one .. cuz its a sure thing :D

Turntable virtuoso Liza Richardson's lush, globally influenced grooves
will be on display in the Tech House Room (Room 5) at The Halloween
Edition of The Good Life's weekly DJ Lounge/Club. Whether she's spinning
the best of underground dance music on The Drop (every Saturday 9-12 on
89.9 KCRW) or serving as music supervisor on acclaimed soundtracks such
as Y Tu Mama Tambien, KCRW's self-described chameleon is always at the
forefront of groundbreaking tech and house.

The night will feature renowned producer, remixer, and DJ John Tejada
whose role as a pioneer of the electronic music scene has resulted in an
astounding output of arrangements, from uber-chill to buoyantly
energetic. The techno artist's singles, remixes, and film and TV
contributions all form a venerable catalog of work that is influenced by
a rich musical history, beginning with classical music. Local DJ hero
Howe Lin will open the room with a deep tech set starting @ 9:30PM sharp

Eminent DJs Tony Powell (DDHC, Faith, The Funk Inn), and Lars Behrenroth
(Diaspora UK, DSoH/XM Radio), will turn the Deep House Room (Amalfi) into
a temple for worship of deep, soulful and uplifting dance music will
ensuring that the beat never stops. On hand to set the stage @ 9:30PM is
up & coming local DJ/Producer Dru Sullivan.
