Alright, I just have to give a big thanks to everyone who came out and made
this event a success. 10 hours straight of mind blowing music!!!!!! 10pm
Saturday to 8am Sunday. It was truly a beautiful thing. The weather was
perfect, the location; stunning, the system thumped(you could hear it
echoing through the canyons), and the crowd was great. It just goes to show
that there are plenty of us out there who still have an adventurous side to
us. Thanks to everyone for all of the kind words and appreciation throughout
the night. It’s good to see that what we do is not in vain.

I knew the night would be just right as soon as I arrived at the site. The
natural scene there was just awesome. The wide open canyon landscape seemed
to breath a constant exhale as it kindly opened itself up to us, offering up
an endless spectacle of breathtaking view forever into the horizon in every
direction. True peace can be enjoyed in the middle of nowhere. I got there
before everyone, just to secure the location. Caught the last glimpse of the
sunset, made a cocktail, and hit golf balls off the cliff. For a moment,
everything in the universe seemed to be in perfect order.

All of the DJ’s played amazing sets, and thank all of you for your support;
Mojito – Thanks for getting things started off just right, and putting us in
that funky, techy mind set.

Red Sonya – Our San Diego funkotronic ambassador. Kudos for making the trek
up there, and for ripping it up with your unique blend of interstellar funk.

Joe Rodriguez – Thanks for being tall. And for providing us with some
banging house music. (You set me up really nice)

Skizo – Thank you for finding my keys!!!!!!!! And for bringing some of that
unheard of, mind altering music you are known for.

Quiana – Thank you for being beautiful, and for standing behind the decks
for an hour so I could look at you. Oh yeah, and thanks for ripping the
place to shreds with that tribal, tech/progressive energy you bring.

Shawna – The pasta salad was amazing!!! Thanks for being so kind, and super
prepared for everything. Twine!?!?! Who’da thought(?)

Lamont – Thank you for knowing how to properly end an event during the
morning hours

Jack Tripper- Big thanks for being our impromptu photographer!

And to everyone who was there- Big thanks for enjoying yourselves and being
a cool crowd. Lots of smiles. It was great adventure doing recon, and
finding a few of you scattered all over the surrounding trails. But when we
guided you all to the spot, as soon as you stepped foot outside your
vehicles the love fell out of you like stones in a damp paper bag. It was so
tight to be playing and then look up into the mountain and see people up
there grooving, or finding peace atop a huge rock. This event rocked, and so
does everyone who was there! We’ll have to do another.

Thank you again everyone. It was a blast.
Ciao.
