Sunday afternoon tea @ the End Up is fun - if they're still having it.

Subject: [Dynagroove] dark, sweaty underground in the bay area?

ok, so i moved to berkeley about two years ago and have been looking
ever since for the same kind of parties i used to go to in l.a.
granted i have been super busy with school, and haven't spent hours and
hours looking, but i have kept my eyes and ears open so to speak. i
have seen mark farina, derrick carter, and bad boy bill at ruby skye.
i have seen miguel migs at mighty. i have been to the om monthly at
dna lounge. i even saw mark farina do a mushroom jazz set last weekend
and it was fucking amazing. i have been to all of these and have had a
really good time. BUT...

i went back to l.a. for spring break a couple weeks ago and went to
subwarp with doc and remembered how much i prefer parties like this to
the ones i mentioned above. and now i am reading about how good
dynagroove was and am thinking, damnit i wish i was there. i love
being in school and i love the bay area, but damnit if i don't miss the
underground scene in l.a. so yeah, here's my point...

does anyone know of anything like this that is happening in the bay
area? i'm thinking it's gotta be around here somewhere. anybody know
anything? any suggestions on how to find out? also i could use some
help here, because i take my girlfriend to these things up here and she
has fun, but she's not big on the clubs either, and kinda makes fun of
me a bit. and i keep telling her, no you don't understand... these are
not the kind of parties that i keep telling you i used to go to, and
talk so much about. also, i have a couple friends who are under 21, so
18 and over would be nice too. so yeah, anyway, help please.
thanks...

jeff
