[Dynagroove] About last Sunday....

but first....
 
i missed dynagroove again, but only because my partners were sending me  
their lists well after 1:00AM, instead of by the agreed upon cut-off time of  
10:00PM.  I was in front of the computer prepping for Good Day La until  3:30AM 
and simply could not make it out.  my apologies Cade.
 
As for Good Day La party, I wanted to thank everyone who came out.  I  think 
we can safely say it was a really fun party...very hot at first (which  made 
the inside air conditioned room so key early on) but then the weather  turned 
beautiful.  Thanks go out to all the DJs (Lee Dubston, MIke T.,  Bodyrock DJs, 
AOS, Adam Hagen and Lance Desardi)... everybody played awesome. 
 
A very special thank you to my boy CADE for many things:  1.  For  playing in 
the first place even after such a hectic weekend for him and even  after been 
given the option to simply relax if he chose to;  2. for playing  very 
well...while Lance was outside experimenting with a little more electroey  sound, 
Cade brought it and actually pulled a nice little number of heads inside  for a 
more straight up house set; 3. for doing that back flip summersault   (twice) 
on camera...hahaha.   Stay tuned for the video...coming soon  to a website 
near you...
 
Finally a thank you to DIZ for coming to the party and hangin' wit da  
homies...and last but not least, thank you to Zoki for showing up also, despite  a 
long weekend for her too.  Folks, this girl really does play soccer  
HARD...she's got the bruises to prove it.
 
I couldn't make the last Boombox.   After over one hour of  clean-up, I 
stopped in for Greenhouse Sunday afterparty at the  Muse with Lee Dubston and 
Rebecca Sin.  Rebecca played dope tech-house  music, almost enough to bring me back 
up. Unfortunately,  by 12:15PM  i was exhausted and could barely get  myself 
home.... 
 
All right, back to the grind...take care y'all...
