 Thanks.  makes sense to me.  of course, that still doesn't address the fact that some people care more about what one promoter posts over another, even about the same event.

A few things....

1) I think the "one post" thing was specifically regarding radio shows.
I think there was a suggestion of a 2 posts/week limit for events, which
seems like a reasonable balance to me.

2) If they [the people posting] are on the list (and if they READ the
list), they'd see that someone else had already posted the event.

3) I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that the promoter(s) of a
party should be able manage to coordinate their promotion efforts. In
other words, it's not "our" problem if you can't manage to communicate
with the folks you're working with.
