I personally would rather hear the truth about a party than
meaningless "let's pat each other on the back" hype. I didn't go to
this event, and the reason I didn't go is because I didn't have a good
time at the last two events prior. I wasn't going to chime in, but it
seems that sometimes, a person can only give his opinion if it's
positive. If the party sucked, the party sucked, and I wish people
would take it as constructive criticism, rather than as an opportunity
to jump on the bandwagon of attacking a dissenting opinion.

Besides, I think Adam was speaking for about the promoters than the
DJ. I know plenty of promoters who aren't above that sort of thing,
not suggesting that this is the case here, however.

Just because a female DJ has been asked to play does not mean that she has any romantic affiliations with the promoters of an event. It is disgusting to think that a person like you is part of this scene which is supposed to embrace artists. Instead you use such sexist logic to support your negative comments.

Last time I checked DJs must look down at their equipment they are using to mix. Why would that ruin your so-called experience? I am also baffled by the tone of superiority you take because you say that you were sober at this event.

I can't help it man, I'm a knee jerk anti-authoritarian but have sufficient
education and experience to make me difficult to replace (No one is irreplaceable!).
