greattings house heads ...
sacred grounds l.a .
would like to thank every one for
the support through the years! It's been tough
to keep it underground! But this new years day and night
project we brought to l.a was the way we use to do it !
it went down in a wharehouse in east l.a from 2pm
strong till 8am sunday jan 2nd, with barry weaver playin a
back in the day acid house set for 3 hours !and taking it like no
other ruben m. putting you in a state of mind that was crazy! and rite
after rubens cousin carlitos let every soul in that wharehouse know what
time it was!
and a hidden jewl to every one who knows house abraham fabela proved his
point
why he was play at this party ! watch out l.a for that guy he's breaking
shit down!
and what the fuck la's house daddie fabian came out to show us some new
tracks
he's going to flood the underground scene with! and tony came out to play
for
the after hour peeps who like to keep the party going! like every one does
all around the earth!
thanx sacred grounds posse !

>Whew!

>After spending about a week in Tejas, my drive back to Lost Angeles seemed
>longer than it ever had. From the land of icy winds and frozen asphalt to

>lost angels. I knew that new year was gonna be monumental when there were
>flashes of light in the West! Lightning! Not sure where to start, but I
>might
>as well get to the good stuff.
>
>Last year I spent my new years countdown in a fucking box outside of the
>Sports Arena. It sucked. Although I tried to have a good time and
>appreciate
>what I had and all that jazz, I so wanted to be stranded in a sea of
>smiling,
>dancing, raving mad people. This year, I got exactly that. I had expected
>to
>be working way through midnight this year as well, but somehow I managed to
>get "off" about ten minutes before midnight. My best friend David and I
>skipped into GIANT like little girls.

>At the start of the 10 second countdown, we were in the middle of the John

>year's GIANT NYE was a bit of a fiasco. From what I heard, you could not
>get

>how

>by
>and giving you a hug or a pat of the back or a smile and just simply saying
>hello. About every five minutes you met someone new. These sort of random

>Now it's time to call out those scenesters and their (not) gay boyfriends
