[Dynagroove] Tropical Set It On Fire.

My grandma and your grandma were sittin by the fire. You're grandma said to
my grandma, "That guy looks like he's wired." There's a difference between
"workin it" and "workin it out." Models "work" the runway, hookers "work" the
corner, and househeads work out their stresses on the dancefloor. This week's
tension got worked THE FUCK out at Tropical, for shizzle! What a great night!
I feel cleansed. M3 and Murray Richardson worked the permanent press. This
had to be one of the best outings of 2005 so far. M3 got me raving again!
And MR brought it back down thick and funky just in time for bed. By 4:00, I
was caputz but I'm sure that Mark E Quark made the morning even more fun.
Praise be to the Tropical crew for a warm and ultraviolet night!

Among the amazing musical selections was a nice little rap about "HIP-HOUSE."
This track was.....uh....FUCKIN DOPE, a post modern nod to "hip-house." I
love music with lyrics about music. And I love HIP-HOUSE! Next one that
caught my ear was "Tragic Queen," ever so popular among us "fags." The words
never seemed so real as they did hearing this song on Sunday. "You say that
you love me, then you treat me like a TRAGIC QUEEN." It was almost
tearjerking drama for me, then it flipped into a souljacker and I worked it
out. I smoked a cigarette after that track. In perfect time came another
track with a chorus something like "It's good to be me." HELL YEAH! I saw
this as a musical message from god.....or Tupac. "Keep ya head up." A perfect
night can't be complete without hearing Diz' voice. He put the nail in the
night for me.......ANGRY! I'LL TELL YOU WHY, SAID YOU'D DO SO MANY THINGS,
ALL YOU DID WAS LIE.

Again, thanks to Mr. Annand and everyone involved in making Tropical this
weekend. And thanks to Theory for the nearly perfect cd that I picked up on
the floor. This one got me home and made me feel like the party never left.
Live at Freethinking! Now where ELSE is there to go on a Friday? It's pretty
hard to find a better place. One of my grandfathers used to say, "There's
nothing worse than a HOOKER WITH COLD HANDS." See you on Hollywood Blvd!

Your friend,

Aaron

PSSSST. And now for some gossip.......another little birdie told me that
Massive Attack was going to be on the lineup for Coachella this year. We'll
see...........
