[Dynagroove] weekend reviews????

Friday: First time at Casey's for FT. Mes was workin it when we got there
bigtime.. Loved the new venue, a little hot on the dancefloor but nothing
too bad. JT came on and seemed to play for what seemed to be 30 min before I
noticed Mes was on again..  He went back to work and had the place jackin'!!
The patio was packed too but a little noisy for my taste.. Dope area to hang
out in though. Ended up leaving a little before 2am and the place was still
packed. Cant wait to go back..

Saturday: Sublevel. Showed up to a huge ass line going down the street,
circa 1996.. Walked it slowly and didn't recognize a single person in line.
A few minutes later I realized that it was actually across the street at
hangar1018. Walked over there and strolled right in.. Louis was warming it
up nicely on that huge ass system.. I heard Mushrooms which I hadn't heard
in ages, then after a bit, Doc stepped up and settled in. At this point
there's not really much else I can say about Doc other than thank god he
never left LA. Everytime I hear him play I'm blown away at how focused he is
and how he can keep it going all night! He didn't disappoint, dropping 2
copies of tracks, layering, cutting, riding, and just blowing the place
apart mix after mix. I think every DJ could definitely learn a thing or two
from him.

Sunday: Pool party/BBQ at Emi's which involved some good food, some great
music, and a bunch of people using his roof as a diving board into the pool!
Couldn't have imagined that going down... Later that night I was fortunate
enough to play at a dope ass loft bday party with Joplin and Mikey Tello..
BYOB style party in a loft... Made Sunday seem like a Saturday all over
again!

Monday: Pool party/BBQ pt. II.. Much more mellow this time around...
Recovery mode for the week ahead!!
