[Dynagroove] Wow... That was a lot of weekend!

Whooooooo, Damn Gina!

THAT WAS A LOT OF FUCKING WEEKEND! I need a medic, I think (shin
splints).

Sometimes after all is said and done, when the weekend is truly over, I
find myself looking incedulously at my friends and asking kinda timidly...
"How... how did that (that meaning the weekend) happen? How did that
come to be?" I have done that the past two weekends.

When the music is good, life is good.

It is a little too late to go into the happenings of 2 weekends ago, but I
have to hit on the main points...

-Friday... Miles at Free Thinking? Don't mind if I do! That was one of
the most solid sets I have heard in a long time, fucking it up like he do.

-Saturday, I helped my friend out doing will call at EDC. That was some
shit. That turned me into a maniac. When I was finally-finally done with
having to interact with poeple and was finally in the party and able to
enjoy some Doc, I was like crazy. And so was Aaron* (see * below for the
extended version). Like running through the fields yelling really loudly.
 Dont ask.

-Sunday, the Dynagroove fucking Meet N Greet... good times! 151, anyone,
anyone? James Sound wins points for the Jill Scott and for his yellow and
red color combination of an outfit. Big thanks to Theory for letting us
have partytime at his house and for having a neighbor that has Pete Rock.
Got to see Bobby Valentine is action, uber impressed (Don't miss this
Thursday night at the Derby!) Mikey, simply a high five.

That weekend kind of made me crazy all week last week. I was telling my
friends I needed to get in one of those iso-water-tanks that sports
players use to like help heal injuries quicker. (An iso-water-tank may be
a ficticious item, I remember an episode of AbFab where Eddie had an Iso
tank, so that might be where I'm pulling from.) I needed to get into that
tank just to heal my person to be ready to party last weekend! (I sound
so superficial sometimes. But much like your girl, *Axel F voice* I like
to party all the time, party all the time, party all the tiii-iime...)

Moving on...

-Friday... Friday turned into a 3 party kind of night. Saw JT and Mes
fucking own that shit. JT is like a Doogie Howser, M.D. kind of prodigy
when it comes to house music. Friday at Free Thinking was good good
times. After Free Thinking there was Gravy, I found it dark and lovely.
It felt like a Saturday night party on a Friday night, I felt naughty. It
was fantastic. At some point later, there was an Inspiration. I left
inspired. It was a sexy night.

-Saturday:::Sublevel:::Speechless- I remain kind of speechless, too...
Louis, oh Louis fucking K-I-L-T (there you go, Ric...) it... FUCKING KILT
IT. He got so dirty and wherehousey, I felt like I had a layer of soot
all over my body it was so dirty. Hands down the best set I have heard
Louis play, and I've heard me some records played by a Louis fs. I'm sooo
his stalker now. And Doc, *quick intake of breaf*, fucking worked it oout
til the breaka breaka dawn. Lillia, too. I always leave this party a
little worse for wear, but I remain like a moth to a flame. I always lose
my mind a touch at a Sublevel too. <3 to a Marty and to a Junior. I want
that set o' Louis'!! (p.s. the next sublevel is so far away. ):

-Sunday:: BBqs and stuff. SLEEP. And then... dot dot dot...
FUTUREHOUSE. And Diz! What a fun party, a late crowd. I love a
Futurehouse, it's always the hoooomies. Diz got all DIZ-like on us, I
can't even think of the words sometimes. Other than just descibing him as
DIZ-like. I find myself looking and listening to a Diz and wanting to
throw some hot sauce on that shit and devour it. I'm looking at him like
I'm Mike Tyson and his ear looks delicious! I left a lot earlier than I
usually leave a Futurehouse cuz a bitch was tired!!!!! Always, hats off
to Lilly and Leonard.

SARA, SHUT UP!!!

On that note...

Ain't life grand? :)

*= re: Aaron being crazy @ EDC:

this truly was one of the funniest things i have ever witnessed/heard
about... so, it was after being in the sun in like san bernadino or
wherever the hell that place is... groovetickets had sold over 3500
tickets, and it was pretty much aaron and i the whole day. so in essence
we had to like come in contact with approx. 4000 ravers! (4000 cuz
everyone would come by thinking that where we were was where you bought
tickets, so we had to direct them to like this trailer) at this one point
there was this candy couple in front of me and the girl, for no rhyme or
reason whatsoever, in this high pitched voice, just says, "Popples." WHAT
THE FUCK?? It was hard for me to hang. But I made it. However, I
digress... so you can magine how loopy we would be after 10 hours of
working that kind of door in the sun... aaron and i were kicking it by
the fresco gear tent/booth area... the booth had this backdrop that was 3
life sized-ish people, like a foto not a drawing of these people. they
were all housey and stuff, it was cool... after a bit aaron turns to me
and says, "sara, i've been flirting with the backdrop." dude, he thought
the pics of people were real people and he was flirting with it!~!! he
said they had made eye contact and he looked away real quick and he was
standing kind of coyly. it was fucking hilaaaaaarious.
