[Dynagroove] Miss Honey D @ Focus

A little late but worth reviewing:

Miss honey came with it!  I don't care if you're gay, straight or a 
transvestite :) she had the crowd moving to her techy, chunky chi-town 
shit(with a hint of that NY steelo) that only she can drop(kind of a 
mix between DC and heather in my opinion). Nothing but niceness all 
night...

The last time I heard her was five years ago at Hippie 2000 where she 
played in front of a huge crowd(2000+), so it was good change of pace 
to see her in a more intimate environment.

One of the highlights was when she dropped Wally Callerio's new remix 
of Josh One's AFTERHOURS (which if you don't have, you need to act like 
you do, and run out and buy)- a really nice track that has slowly grown 
on m...

James Sound started off the night and set me up nicely, and then Honey 
took control of the closing set like a champ!  There are only a handful 
of djs out there that know how to "work it" and she is one of them. 
(examples of other djs who can work it... Heather, DC, Farina, M3, 
Bodyrock djs, etc)

At the end of the night, men and women of all ages were standing in 
line to meet and greet- by far one of the coolest djs we've had since 
Ian Pooley(our good friend from the land of chocolate!)

So the moral of the story: Come out to focus and see what goes on 
behind the orange curtain on tuesdays...you just might like it(check 
out our upcoming dates)
