[Dynagroove] looking for a location to hold fundraiser

What’s up Y’all!

As some of you know I am in the last stretch of finishing my first feature-length film called Waiting For Tomorrow.  Over the past year we have shot all over Los Angeles telling the story of a young couple living in the streets of LA.  With a crew of five and completely self-funded it has been a challenge trying to get everything we need, but somehow we have been able to get 90% of it on tape (and looking good!!).  With that said, we still need to shoot the last scene which is going to require some expenses that we clearly don’t have the money for.  Therefore, it looks like we need to have an emergency fundraiser to raise the $1000 needed to finish the film.   

I was wondering if any of you had any leads on a spot where we can host the fundraiser.  A bar, club, loft, or even a big house would do the trick.  Overall, we are looking for a spot where we can charge $10 at the door and hopefully get a cut of the bar.  For this situation, a loft or a big house would be ideal.  As an incentive, anyone helping out with the fundraiser will get screen credits in the film for their support.
  
It is really important that we raise this money in the next couple of weeks as we are trying to have the film finish by the Sundance deadline.  We also have an HBO executive who has been overlooking the work for the past year and so far has shown very promising support.  But it is still very important to be able to finish this film independently with the help of the community.  And just so you know, this film is being made with the help of a non-profit organization called Los Angeles Youth Network which provides emergency housing for homeless kids under the age of 18. 

Because of the time constriction, a quick turnaround on any leads would be greatly appreciated.  Again, to all of you who showed up at last year’s fundraiser.  Without your support this film would have never gotten off the ground.  THANK YOU!!!!
