i, too, have to concur that the first night of ft at the new spot was
veritably seamless in feeling.

the new location is wicked rad. i love the sunken patio/venue vibe...where
you walk up and then DOWN into the fun.

with a few rearrangements of areas (house outside, say yeah!) and dancefloor
set ups (sideways instead of longways inside) the location will accomodate
more people, and be more fun than boardners ever thought it could be.

many swank couches to chill on, awesome patio that you can get loud on w/o
any worries, tons of bars, hot bartenders and cocktail servers...bitchin
batman elevator in the sidewalk makin it easy to load sound...the party van
on the curb...

WAILING REGGAE. good lord, i was seriously in heaven. i LOVE me some reggae.
i do i do.

and then of course, solar played goodness as well...love hearing the whole
dance floor chiming along to 'i need a freak'...good times. sound was
pumpin, people were doin they thang...before i knew it the night was over
and i couldn't wait for another go'round. the words 'afterparty' were all
about...people were in the mood to rock it.

i couldn't help but to feel relieved a little to see people showing up and
supporting...moving a long running night like that is sometimes fatal to a
weekly, and its good to know that ft will endure this summer in a really
well chosen spot with more to offer its guests.

way to go.

cant wait for mark(i)E quark!!!
