The underground house scene here in L.A. has been ever changing in the last 
ten years of our involvement. We would like to extend this breaf bio of 
Sacred Grounds to the new and old faces of the house scene to give you a 
better understanding of what we are doing, what we are about, and who we 
are. Yes, we have had our share of busted parties with great dj's, but 
that's the cost of "keeping it underground". We have also had our share of 
GREAT parties that helped put a stamp in the house scene internationally 
letting dj's/promoters/producers and party-goers from across the world know 
that L.A underground house is still alive and kicking! With much respect to 
those who are not on this roster but have had the pleasure to grace us with 
your craft. Thank you. You have not been forgotten. We encourage those who 
have been to one of our parties to send a "memorable moment" that has been 
instilled in your memory. We would love to have feed back and suggestions as 
to how to create a better atmosphere and vibe. Be creative in your 
suggestions and reply back privately or openly.


Sacred Grounds Bio:

Sacred Grounds has been a staple in the L.A. underground house movement 
since 1995. With Resident dj's holding it down Ruben Medellin, and Dj Lou. 
It was originated by Gunny & Ruben and brought to life by Raul, Ruben, 
Gunny, Lou, Art and Alex. Working hard to keep the vibe as underground as 
possible we have found ourselves on a 10 year tenyer that would lead us to a 
vibe and concept that can't be compared to no other. Having guest dj's from 
across the globe our sound is not to be catagorized. From the deep soulful 
sounds of Tony Humphries to the more funkier stompy sounds of Dj Sneak we 
cater to all house enthusiest alike. Our roster has concisted of (not in no 
particular order): Tony Humphries, Mark Farina, Miguel 'Migs', Marques 
Wyatt, Julius Papp, Doc Martin, Dj Sneak, Jeno, Garth, Markie, Steve Loria, 
Dj Fabien, Dj Pierre, J-Dub, Xavier, Eli Star, Chris Flores, Brownie, The 
NYC Chocolate Factory heads (Joeski, Onionz, Sameer, Frank Ryde), Jamie 
Thinnes, Doran, Tony Senghore (Sweden) Raoul Bellams (Swirl People, 
Belgium), Ellen Ferrato, Tracy, Diz, Little Chris, Juan Nunez, Cade, Wally 
Callerio, CoCoe (abstract Workshop), Mark Grant, Pete Moss, Mauricio Aviles, 
Jonene, Lance De Sardi, Jt Donaldson, Aztek Sol, Benjammin, Alison, and last 
but not least the many local dj's in L.A. Our dream is simple. House moves 
us, we don't move it. Be free and let the music take you on it's journey.
