[Dynagroove] (+halloween weekend blabber) DIMITRI FROM PARIS @ DEEP - Nov. 13th

I went to four different Halloween dance parties this weekend
(Inspiration, Monster Massive, Sublevel, Deep) and I've gotta say that
DEEP was the party of the weekend for me.  I've only been to Deep once,
never at The Vanguard and by golly I was wolfing it up like a crazy man! 
I think I'm finally getting the Marques Wyatt sickness and I like like
like it.  I only stayed till 2 and during the time I was there Ben Watt
was playing well. But, it seemed a little spacey and atmospheric at times.
 Marques was giving out the drops that got the crowd screaming; Ben was
seemed to be making everyone moan when he dropped.

The music at Inspiration was less soulful on Friday and I was eating it up
like sweet tarts.  Think a Joey Negro  remix then old school techno/house
tracks. MMM.  Old school like LA Ditch parties.  (thats when all the crazy
teenagers would ditch school to go rave in a warehouse during the day.)

Monster Massive was massive.  Felix and Reza played well but I felt
trapped in the house room.  It was so crowded that it was difficult dance
fabulously (without knocking someone in the head) and to walk around. 
Going to take a piss was a horror in itself as there were even people
rolled out on the floor/against the walls outside of the bathroom sitting
in peutrid water that was overflowing out of the bathroom.  Still though,
the party had the funnest costumes and the hottest people for shizzle.

I went to sublevel after monster massive, near when it seemed to be
winding down.  Doc was on it, the venue was FUCKING GREAT, and so was the
sound.

I decided that the Farina party was not for me because I still had a boner
from seeing the flyer for the Mark Farina/Doc Martin party at Vanguard. 
This is going to be OFF THE CHAIN and shoulda been what happened on
Saturday night.  Our hater joke for the evening was that our friend that
dressed up like an aviator was the one who crashed the Mark Farina party
into the Doc Martin party.  Were there any survivors?
