First off can anyone who took pictures from Saturday please email them to
me? I don't have any for the web-site. Thanks..

Now thats what I call a fun weekend!!!!!! Friday at free thinkin was fun
as hell. I got to open for john larner and I just played a bunch of new
tracks and had a lot of fun. Then john larner came on and tore the decks
up! It was good to have dudu (Przztz) in for the weekend to make the
weekend that much sweeter. The patio was also on a tear with some pretty
rocking D&B.. I must say I am very pleased that free thinkin seems to
have survived the move and still going strong. The bar is working with us
and you may have noticed the dance floor is a little bigger.

Saturday!! Woo hoo!.. All I can say about Saturday is I can't believe we
did not get busted. ahahah When we booked the venue we knew we would need
to make an outdoor area. But when the party progressed and people stared
to fill the entire front of the venue I thought for sure the 5.0 would
come and check us out. After all the police station was less then a mile
away. All night they just drove by and did not even stop to check us out.
Whew! Anyway how dope was that location??? How good did it sound in
there? How cool was that artwork? How nice were those fans?

OK so we had to run a map point. I am sorry but it was a necessity for
crowd control and the venue did not want us charging at the door. I am
glad we ran a map point too because we hit capacity by 1:30 and had to
shut down the voice mail and map point. So if you didn't make it my
apologies!!! But you should listen when I say "Early arrival suggested."

Anyway boz opened up and got to play to about 16 people!! Thanks boz....
hey but you got to play "I was hoping to ask for a dance.." ahaha that old
Herbert is dope. I have to pull that record out. I played next and tried
to do the "Build up" set. But just ended up playing new records at first
then going to my old faithfuls. I had fun except when my record skipped
and I train wrecked. eeep. But I had fun and felt good seeing the place
fill up and people dancing. I must say I love the "Free thinkin dancers"
well thats what I call them. The crew of Filipinos that are always bust a
move at free thinkin. I love it when they come out to the Saturday parts
and just cut it up. They were my inspiration so I hope they liked my
set! ahaha... James curd came on next and played some ol school chi-town
jammies along with some new school stuff. Does that boy work a sweat or
what? Or does he attract drunk Asia hotties that like to bump the
tables? ahahahahahahaha I think Amy was in a little slice of heaven for
those two hours. Bodyrocks... (insert evil star wars music.. bam bam
babam dahh dah dum) Jumped on deck and threw down. A mix of acid, breaks,
tech, and funky chunky stuff.. a great way to end the night!!! Oh and
keeping the girl with no bra and the perfect breasts there too! Thanks
bodyrockdjs!

I would like to thank violet for being way too organized.. I must say
that I had a lot less stress then I normally do because of her insane
organizational skills. ahaha Thanks to Fabian for designing the kick ass
flier!!! Thanks to sound factory for making it sound good. Thanks to the
art gallery for taking a risk on us. Thanks to the bar girls for looking
so damn hot while working the bar. Oh and not laughing at any of my
jokes.. Thanks to the map point and big Steve... Thanks to James curd,
boz, and the bodyrockdjs for making the party groove, Thanks to Sara and
zoki for working the door, thanks to jeff, and the other guy who helped
clean up. Thank all of you for coming and also THANK YOU for not trashing
the place! you guys were great and it can't be a proper party without
you!!!
